Flexible Cover Teacher – Secondary Schools in Tameside

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher across a wide range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, and more.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment by encouraging student engagement, respect, and discipline.
- Ensure that lesson objectives are met and students remain on task during lessons.
- Provide feedback on student performance where appropriate and ensure that any disruptions are handled swiftly.
- Work closely with other teaching staff to maintain consistency and high standards in the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
