Full-Time Behaviour Mentor Opportunity – Liverpool Secondary Schools

Position: Behaviour Mentor (Full-Time)
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentors to work in secondary schools across Liverpool, supporting pupils who may have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support, promoting positive behaviour strategies.

Assist pupils in managing their emotions, building confidence, and developing coping skills.

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to create a nurturing learning environment.

Implement tailored interventions to help students engage with their learning.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs.

Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
-
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
