Join Our Team as an ALN Teaching Assistant!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? Do you have a heart for helping others and are comfortable with personal care tasks? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate ALN Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful team!

Location: Ammanford

Hours: 8:30am- 3:30pm

Salary: £89.38

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with ALN: Previous experience working with children with Additional Learning Needs is essential.
  • Comfortable with Personal Care: You should feel confident supporting students with personal care needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and respected.
  • Empathy & Patience: Understanding and patience are key! You’ll be working closely with students who need extra support.
  • Team Player: You’ll collaborate with teachers and other staff to provide the best care and support possible for students.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive outlook and approach to challenges will help you thrive in this role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Learning: Assist students with ALN to help them access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.
  • Provide Personal Care: Support students with daily personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
  • Be a Positive Role Model: Encourage independence, build confidence, and promote social skills.
  • Work Collaboratively: Partner with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support for each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
