Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Buddy to work in a primary school in Blackpool (FY1). This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience in a primary setting who is confident in managing behaviour and providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs. As a Behaviour Buddy, your primary role is to support children with challenging behaviour within a primary school setting. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure pupils receive the guidance and strategies they need to succeed.

Role Details:

 Location: Blackpool (FY1)

 Start Date: ASAP

 Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday)

 Setting: Primary School

Requirements:

✅ Experience working in a primary school setting

✅ Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and supporting pupils with special educational needs

✅ A calm, patient, and resilient approach

✅ Ability to build positive relationships and implement effective strategies

✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
