At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to support vulnerable children in primary schools across Lancaster and Morecambe. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, providing them with the care, guidance, and support they need to thrive.

As a Youth Worker, you will:

• Work closely with children who may face challenges such as social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.

• Provide tailored support, helping them build confidence, improve their behavior, and develop essential life skills.

• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive school environment.

• Be a positive role model, encouraging personal growth, resilience, and well-being.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting.

• A genuine passion for helping children and supporting their development.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, especially when working with vulnerable children.

• A DBS check (or willingness to apply for one) and any relevant qualifications would be an advantage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
