At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to support vulnerable children in primary schools across Lancaster and Morecambe. As a Youth Worker, you will:

Work closely with children who may face challenges such as social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.

Provide tailored support, helping them build confidence, improve their behavior, and develop essential life skills.

Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive school environment.

Be a positive role model, encouraging personal growth, resilience, and well-being.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting.

A genuine passion for helping children and supporting their development.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, especially when working with vulnerable children.

A DBS check (or willingness to apply for one) and any relevant qualifications would be an advantage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
