Year 6 Teacher – Newcastle upon Tyne

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of young learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Newcastle upon Tyne from April 2025.
This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an educator committed to preparing students for their SATs and the transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire Year 6 students
- Prepare pupils for SATs and secondary school transition, ensuring they feel confident and ready
- Provide individualised support, helping every child reach their full potential
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
- Track and assess student progress effectively
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Year 6 (preferred but not essential)
- A passion for teaching and inspiring children
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A creative, resourceful, and proactive approach to teaching
- A commitment to ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
