Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale

Job Type: Contract, Part-Time

Salary: £12.90 - £14.50 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Deliver planned lessons during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time for teachers
• Ensure a stimulating, engaging, and safe learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Assess and record student progress
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Relevant teaching qualification

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a classroom

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in special education or inclusive teaching practises
• Experience working with children with diverse learning needs

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours as per the contract
• Work in a primary school setting in Skelmersdale
• Collaborate with teaching staff and school leadership

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
