Job Title: Year 5 Teacher - Chorley

Salary:

£140 - £190 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support their learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Assessment and data analysis skills
  • IT proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience with SEN students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours on a temporary basis in a primary school in Chorley. The teacher will be responsible for delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
