Job Title: Year 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:

  • Support the Year 3 class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Assist with classroom management and student supervision
  • Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Assist in assessing student progress and maintaining records

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or experience

Education:

Minimum of GCSE level education in English and Maths

Experience:

Experience working in a primary school setting as a Teaching Assistant

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional relevant qualifications in Education or Childcare
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work within a primary school setting
  • Full-time hours during term time
  • Potential for additional training and development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
