Year 2 Teacher – Temporary Role (June to December)
Lytham St Anne’s | June – December 2025 | Full Time | Competitive Daily Rate

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Lytham St Anne’s, currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to cover a temporary role from June through December 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing practitioner to join a supportive KS1 team and make a meaningful impact in the final half-term and into the new academic year.

The Role:

  • Full-time teaching responsibility for a delightful Year 2 class

  • Start date: June 2025 (ideal for smooth transition before summer break)

  • End date: December 2025

  • Planning, assessment and parent communication included

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent KS1 or Year 2 teaching experience preferred

  • Confident with phonics and end-of-KS1 assessments

  • A team player with strong classroom management skills

  • Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
