We are working with a local Welsh medium primary school who are looking for Welsh speaking individual to assist in class with pupils ranging from year groups 2-4. The position will be assisting pupils across the syllabus in various lessons and ensuring each pupil has the correct support in lesson times.

Experience working within school is not vital but experience with additional needs would be extremely useful and advantageous to the success candidate. You could either be put with a small group or a 1-to-1 pupil, so you need to be comfortable working with both and able to adapt to them.

We need someone who can commit to a long-term opportunity with a lot of flexibility as we will need to create a regular pattern as the school likes keeping a strong routine for the pupils. In interview stage showing passion for the opportunity and for the type of work is vital!

What you will need:

• Enhanced DBS checks must be completed before the role will commence – (Teaching Personnel can help you with this!)
• EWC registration required which is mandatory requirement in Wales.
• Experience personally or in a working environment with children (desirable).
• A Fluent Welsh speaker
