Trainee Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Clubmoor, Liverpool, L13)

 

Start: June 2025 | End: December 2025 | Full-time

 

Are you looking to take your first step into the education sector?
A welcoming primary school in Clubmoor (L13), Liverpool, is looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Teaching Assistant to join their team from June to December 2025.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children in their learning and development, especially those interested in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

 

We are particularly interested in hearing from:

 

  • Graduates in subjects linked to education, child development, psychology, or special needs

  • Youth workers with experience supporting young people in structured settings

  • Sports coaches with experience in mentoring or delivering physical education sessions

  • Individuals with volunteering or informal experience working with children or young people

 

No formal school experience is required – just a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for making a difference in children’s lives.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom

  • Working with pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis

  • Helping children with SEN access the curriculum

  • Supporting classroom management and routines

 

To apply, you must be available full-time from June through to December 2025. Full training and ongoing support provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
