Teaching Assistants – Team Teach Qualified

About the Pupils:
You’ll be working with children and young people who face a range of challenges, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and behavioural difficulties. These pupils require strong, supportive role models who can build trust, offer stability, and create an environment where they can thrive.

Your Role Will Include:

Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs, particularly those displaying challenging behaviour.

Utilising your Team Teach skills to de-escalate situations and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

Building meaningful relationships to encourage confidence and positive decision-making.

Assisting in classroom activities to ensure full engagement and participation.

Acting as a positive role model, setting clear expectations while demonstrating patience and empathy.

Working alongside teachers and support staff to foster a structured and nurturing educational environment.
What We’re Looking For:

A current Team Teach qualification is essential.
-
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties, or similar challenges.
-
Resilience, patience, and a strong commitment to helping young learners succeed.

Access to your own transport is beneficial but not essential.
Locations:
We have opportunities across South Leeds and surrounding areas, including Morley, Beeston, and Rothwell.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
