SEN Teaching Assistant - Hertfordshire

Required for roles starting as soon as possible.

We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants with excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to deal with complex issues.

Based within SEN schools as well as Secondary and Primary schools, as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for supporting students ranging from Early Years through to GCSE that have a range of complex needs including Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and complex behavioural difficulties. Therefore previous experience working in a similar environment is important but not necessary. The right attitude, the right work ethic, empathy and initiative trumps experience every time - so don't undersell yourself, you can do it!

In order to register with Teaching Personnel, candidates are required to have Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service. All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course through Teaching Personnel, or provide a relevant safeguarding certificate during your registration process. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory vetting checks and references.
