Job description
Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs ( SEN) reach their full potential? A welcoming primary school in Bury is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing and experienced team.
Supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are an advantage
Role :
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to deliver targeted support
- Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Promoting independence and confidence in every child
- Tracking pupil progress and providing feedback to staff and parents
