TA'S IN SANDWELL, WE HAVE A NUMBER OF FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT POSITIONS STARTING IN JANUARY 2025...

 

Teaching Personnel Birmingham are recruiting passionate and reliable individuals to work full time or part time in one of our mainstream secondary schools in Sandwell

The school is OFSTED rated Good with Oustanding elements and strives for excellence amongst all its staff to ensure the best pupil achievements both academically and socially.

 

Hours: Mon-Fri (term time only)

Rate of pay: £83-95 (per day, dependent upon experience)

Start Date: January 2025

Location: B71

 

Ideal Person Specification:

- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or LSA

- Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs

- Confident and approachable with the ability to work autonomously 

- GCSEs in English and Maths

- Any relevant teaching assistant qualifications (L1/2/3)

 

Job Roles/Responsibilities:

- Support pupils within the class under the direction of the main class teacher

- Provide specialist learning and support for the most vulnerable pupils in the class

- Work closely on a 1:1 and small group basis with low level learning pupils and those with special educational needs

- Communicate effectively with class teacher to ensure the best outcomes of the pupils

- Keep safeguarding principles at the centre of all your practice

- Foster a safe, nurturing and positive learning enrivonment for all pupils to thrive

- Support the class teacher with classroom management and assist with arranging learning materials for each lesson

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
