ARE YOU SEEKING A FULFILLING AND REWARDING POSITION AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT WITHIN A SECONDARY SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT?
Teaching Personnel are in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school in the Solihull locality, to appoint a dedicated and knowlegable teaching assistant to work on a full time basis from January.
Pay rate: £84-100 (per day, dependent upon experience)
Location: B90
Start Date: ASAP (Jan 2025)
The Ideal Candidate will:
- have GCSEs in English and Maths
- have experience in a teaching assistant or LSA position
- have experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- be confident working with children with special educational needs and will have previous experience in this
- be confident, reliable and friendly
You will be responsible for:
- supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- assisting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and challenging activities/lessons
- working closely with children with special educational needs
- providing specialist support to help the learning and development of all pupils
- fostering an inclusive and safe environment for all pupils to thrive, regardless of ability or background

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
