EXPERIENCED TEACHING ASSISTANTS, LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS OR SUPPORT STAFF WE HAVE EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU!
Location: Warwick (opportunities also in Coventry too, please get in touch if this applies to you)
Pay Rate: £84-95 (per day, dependent upon experience)
Teaching Personnel Birmingham are collaborating with a number of secondary schools in Warwick to recruit dedicated, passionate and talented Teaching Assistants on a full time, part time and flexible basis.
Our ideal candidates will have prior experience working in schools supporting children, have knowledge and experience of children with special educational needs and be confident to work automously supporting the most vulnerable children.
Qualifications/Experiences:
- Relevant L1, L2 and/or L3 teaching assistant qualification ( desired but not essential)
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Experience working with and supporting children with special educational needs
- Knowledge and understand of EHCPs ( desired but not essential)
- Confident to work independently without constant support of teacher
Role/Responsibilites:
- Support the most vulnerable pupils within a class on a 1:1 and/or small group basis
- Support children with special educational needs, tailoring activities to suit their learning styles
- Communicating regularly and effectively with class teacher to support the learning and development of pupils
- Raise any concerns of safeguarding, welfare, learning to class teacher or most appropriate staff member in a timely manner
- Show a patient and caring manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
