Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in the Southampton area, looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2025. 

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

• Support the learning of pupils in Key Stage 3 and 4 across core subjects (English, Maths and Science)
• Provide intervention and support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, and pupils working below age related expectations
• Work closely with the SENCO to ensure all pupils are able to access the curriculum
• Manage behaviour and help to engage pupils in education

Role Requirements:

• Experience working with children/young people
• Able to support core subjects
• Strong behaviour management
• Enhanced DBS (or be able to apply for one)
• Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
