About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, enabling them to access the curriculum effectively.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, implementing strategies to support development in both academic and social skills.
- Foster a safe, inclusive atmosphere that encourages independence and resilience.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with:
- Previous experience working with children with SEND (experience in secondary schools is advantageous).
- A caring and patient approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families effectively.
- A commitment to promoting well-being and a positive learning environment.
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
