Teaching Personnel are collaborating with an excellent mainstream secondary school in Rugby to appoint a passionate and experienced teaching assistant on a full time basis.

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire (CV23)
Hours: Full Time (flexible for the right person)
Rate of pay: £85-100 (per day, depending upon experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant teaching assistant qualifications
- Experience as a teaching assistant or in a supporting role
- Experienced and confident working with children with special educational needs
- Ability to manage own workload under the direction of the main classroom teacher
- Be confident and approachable
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher with the delivery of classroom activities
- Work closely with pupils with additional learning needs
- Work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils with special educational needs
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively and de-escalate challenging situations in a prompt and professional manner
- Commitment to the overall well-being, health and safety of all pupils within the school
- Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all children have the chance to thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
