About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and tailored learning activities.

  • Work one-to-one or with small groups of students, providing targeted support.

  • Assist in classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

  • Encourage and motivate students, helping to build confidence and independence.

  • Support students with additional needs, ensuring all pupils can access learning.

The ideal candidate will be caring, patient, and proactive, with:

  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting.

  • A passion for supporting students’ learning and development.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to engage with students and staff.

  • A positive and adaptable approach, willing to take on varied responsibilities.

  • A relevant qualification (desirable but not essential).
