Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Daily Rate: £83.85

About the Role:

We are seeking both full-time and part-time Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Cardiff. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, help nurture young minds, and kickstart your career in education.

Key Responsibilities‍:

• Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

• Assist the teacher in setting up and running daily classroom activities.

• Supervise students during playtimes and lunch breaks.

• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and structured environment.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who need extra guidance and encouragement.

• Enthusiasm — A positive, energetic attitude that inspires students.

• Adaptability — Comfortable with flexibility and changing tasks throughout the day.

• Interpersonal Skills — A warm, friendly, and approachable personality.

• Requirements:

• No formal qualifications required — perfect for those without prior classroom experience.

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• Experience working with children (e.g., volunteering, babysitting, sports coaching) is desirable but not essential.

• Enhanced DBS check (child workforce) — we can assist with this.

• EWC registration (Education Workforce Council).
