Location – Cardiff

Hours – Full Time (8:30am - 3:30pm)

Pay - £83.85 per day

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a teaching assistant to work in a mainstream primary school on a 1 to 1 basis. The ideal candidate will be confident supporting children with additional needs and supporting with behaviour management in the class. The role will include working with children on an individual or group basis, and supporting with classroom assistance and daily needs of the children. The school require the teaching assistant to be proactive and positive, and work well as part of a team environment with the other staff members in the school.

Ideal Candidate:  

• Experience supporting children with additional needs or similar experience
• Knowledge of behaviour management
• Nurturing and caring nature with a passion for supporting children
• Strong communication skills

Requirement Criteria:

• Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (Teaching Personnel can help with this!)
• Registered to the Education Workforce Council (mandatory requirement in Wales)
• Provide professional based references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
