Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel have exciting job opportunities available for Teaching Assistants to carry out both general and 1:1 roles in welcoming Primary Schools across Bristol. The schools pride themselves on developing confident, motivated and respectful young people and the ideal candidate will be passionate about contributing to their success.

The role is Full Time Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only with long term opportunities available as well.

This job would be ideal for a candidate looking to gain experience working with children in a classroom environment. Previous recent experience working with children is mandatory.

The successful candidate will have:

-          Confidence working with young people

-          Experience or training with Makaton, PECs or TEACCH strategies would be advantageous

-          Enthusiasm for helping children excel and enhancing their learning

-          Experience working with children in another capacity such as sports coaching or a support worker

-          Will be proactive in delivering and adapting interventions

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service.
