Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Job description
A friendly and welcoming school in South Bristol is looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join them ASAP on an ongoing basis. The school is equipped with fantastic facilities and is well connected via public transport.

The role is to support a class of children in a reception class. Your main duties will include: carrying out phonics interventions (training will be provided for this), working with small groups of children, supervising play, oberving children's interactions and assisting children in SEND.
The successful candidate will have:
- Have previous experience of working with young children,
- Experience of working as a TA is desirable,
- Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with pupils within the school and enhance their learning,
- Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49.50, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
