Job description
- Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Bournemouth
- Salary: 12.90 p/h
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with a range of special educational needs
- Supporting both 1:1 and group work
- Helping with the development of social and emotional skills
- Working alongside teachers and other support staff to provide a safe learning environment
- Assisting with personal care (if necessary, based on the students' needs)
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- A passion for supporting children with special needs
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably with SEN children
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or a Special Educational Needs qualification
- (Desirable) Experience working with children with specific needs, such as autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties
- Hours & Work Schedule: Full-time/Part-time and details of working hours (e.g., Monday to Friday,8.45am - 3.30 pm)
