Speech and Language Support Role
Location: South Shore, Blackpool
Position: Speech and Language Support
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Start Date: 24th February 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be recruiting for a Speech and Language Support Specialist to work in a vibrant and inclusive school in South Shore, Blackpool.
The Role:
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Work closely with students identified as needing speech and language support.
- Implement targeted interventions and individualised strategies to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support plans.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet students’ evolving needs.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment to boost students’ confidence and communication abilities.
About You:
We are seeking a committed and empathetic professional who has:
- Previous experience in a speech and language support role (desirable but not essential).
- A relevant qualification in speech and language therapy, education, or similar fields.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, staff, and families.
- A proactive and flexible approach to meeting the needs of students.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
