Location: High Needs Primary School, located in Southampton
Contract: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)

Salary: £12.90 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our compassionate team at a small, high needs primary school specializing in supporting young children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to nurturing vulnerable young learners and creating a secure, trusting learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored, one-on-one and group support to primary-aged pupils with additional needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individual learning and support plans.
  • Adapt your approach to support the emotional, social, and academic development of each child.
  • Build meaningful relationships rooted in trust, encouragement, and understanding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
