Teaching Assistant 1:1 Support

Location: CF3 
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (Until the End of the Academic Year)
Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting. This is a full-time role until the end of the academic year, based in a welcoming and supportive school in the CF3 area.

The ideal candidate will:

✅ Have experience working within EYFS
✅ Be passionate about supporting children with ALN, ensuring they receive the best possible learning experience
✅ Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable to meet the individual needs of the child
✅ Be able to work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide tailored support
✅ Have a willingness to learn and implement strategies to aid development and engagement

Requirements:

✔️ Experience working with children in EYFS, preferably in a 1:1 ALN support role
✔️ A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or supporting learning (desirable)
✔️ A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
