Job description

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher with a heart for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We're seeking a dedicated SEMH Supply Teacher to join our team on a flexible basis, helping to create a positive and nurturing environment for students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with SEMH needs.
  • Support students' emotional and social development, creating a safe and inclusive classroom.
  • Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure students' wellbeing and progress are supported.
  • Implement behavioral management strategies that promote positive outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in working with SEMH students.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse and complex needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills with a calm and understanding approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and a proactive attitude to work across different classrooms and settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
