Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with an outstanding secondary school based in Birmingham. The school are looking for an experienced and dedicated Teacher of Geography.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design and produce teaching materials and resources which are appropriate to age and ability.
• Plan, deliver and review lessons which are appropriate to the age and ability of the students so as to facilitate progression in students’ learning.
• Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of the students assigned.
• Manage the classroom and teaching equipment so to create a positive learning environment which makes effective use of available resources.
• Attend meetings, carry out administrative tasks and duties as required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or working towards qualification.
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
• Track record of delivering ‘outstanding’ teaching.
• Successful delivery of sustained outstanding attainment and achievement.
• Ability to teach to GCSE standard.
• Ability to teach to A Level standard.
• Ability to deliver effective and outstanding learning and teaching in the classroom.
