Work for a minimum of two terms – with the opportunity to apply for the role permanently

Work as part of a vibrant and hard working KS2 team

Work under the leadership of an experienced Senior Leadership Team & ‘inspirational’ Head teacher.

A school in Bispham, who have recently received a GOOD grading by Ofsted, have approached Teaching Personnel in the last week to shortlist a number of teachers for a Year 5 role, to start after October half-term. The Head teacher is keen to see CV’s and short list educators as soon as possible.

Generally, the children who attend school tend to arrive from a variety of social backgrounds and mostly from socially deprived. As a result of this, the children tend to arrive with low language skills and academic ability. With this, you will be expected to tailor your delivery to ensure that all children are able to access the Curriculum and in turn, creating an individualised learning environment.

With the school being a faith school, it is not a necessity to be of Christian faith however, you will be expected to uphold certain areas; including RE sessions and collective worship. Behaviour is graded as GOOD by Ofsted, and you will be expected to continue with the behaviour policies already implemented in school.

Non negotiables for the role are:

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • You must have previous experience of working in KS2
  • You must have a track record of raising attainment in KS2
  • You must be able to evidence good behaviour management techniques

If you are interested in this position, please upload an up-to-date version of your CV and we will be in touch.
