Job Duties:

Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities
Assisting with classroom management
Working with individual students or small groups
Helping to prepare learning materials
Supervising students during activities

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
Good communication skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience working in schools, nurseries or with childre preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of classroom dynamics
Ability to work well in a team
Patience and empathy

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
First Aid training

Working Conditions:

Part-time or Full-Time hours, flexible schedule
Work mainly within school hours
Potential for travel between different schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
