Supply Teacher - Secondary Schools

Location: Stockport & Cheadle Hulme (Various secondary schools)
Contract Type: Flexible, Ad-Hoc, Short-Term
Salary: £120 to £150 per day.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the chance to work across multiple secondary schools in Stockport and Cheadle Hulme, covering lessons for absent teachers. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring students stay engaged, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose when and where you work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering planned lessons to students across a range of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Adapting quickly to different school settings and subjects
- Ensuring that students remain engaged and productive
- Supporting students' academic and personal development where possible
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred but not essential
- Previous experience teaching in secondary schools is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to new environments
- A passion for education and the ability to inspire students
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to your work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
