Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Adhere to the school's policies and procedures
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to regular teachers
• Collaborate with other staff members to support student learning and development

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of settings

Working Conditions:

This role may require flexibility in working hours and locations, depending on the needs of the school. The ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work collaboratively with school staff is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
