Role Overview:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers, providing essential support to help students achieve their potential. This is an exciting chance to gain classroom experience, build relationships with students and staff, and make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning in the classroom, working with individual students or small groups.
- Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and resource creation.
- Provide one-on-one or group support to students with specific learning needs.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ academic and personal growth.
About You:
- Recent graduate with a genuine interest in education (all degree backgrounds considered).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, positive approach.
- Ability to build rapport with students and inspire their confidence.
- Organised, reliable, and adaptable to work in diverse educational settings.
- Experience working with young people (volunteering, mentoring, etc.) is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
