Supply Teachers Needed in Portsmouth!

As a supply teacher, you will step into classrooms to ensure that learning continues seamlessly in the absence of the regular teacher. You will cover pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and provide support to students across a range of subjects and year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Pre-Planned Lessons: Follow the lesson plans provided, ensuring that students remain engaged and on track with their learning.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, managing behavior in line with school policies.
- Support Students: Address student queries and provide support to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Adaptability: Be ready to teach a variety of subjects and work with different year groups depending on the school's needs.
- Professionalism: Represent Teaching Personnel with high standards of conduct, maintaining good communication with school staff and your consultant.
Key Requirements:
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are fully qualified teachers (QTS required).
- Have recent experience teaching in secondary schools.
- Are confident in managing classrooms and maintaining behaviour.
- Are flexible and adaptable to different school environments and needs.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Hold an enhanced child only DBS check on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
