Summer School roles 2021
Kirklees
The deadline for schools applying for summer school has been extended until the end of May. Across West Yorkshire we have already seen growing interest from out partner, schools, trusts, academies, and Mats.
If you are a current teacher who was unable to work or find work due to covid, we would like to speak with you….
If you are a NQT who due to covid could not find a long term or suitable role, we would like to hear from you….
If you are a current PGCE student who is finishing up in June, we would like to hear from you also…..
Schools will have the opportunity to design summer school however it suits them best but from our early conversations, it looks like it will be a 2-week block. Schools will design curriculum and timetables.
Early evidence suggest Summer school will be really focused on transitional years, so Year 7 will have a lot of students and support. Due to the fear of burn out of current contracted teachers, schools are being advised by the DFE to use flexible staffing solutions.
If you are any of the above and you are looking for some extra experience, some extra money, an extra chance to network and find yourself a September, role then please get in touch with Brian from the Leeds Bradford secondary team or a member of his team by following the link provided.
All teachers must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get on
All teachers must a full and up to date CV ready to send across with their application.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
