This is your opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated team at a specialist SEN school in Bolton, where we support students with complex needs. Every day is different, full of heart, challenge, and purpose — and you could be part of it.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant who’s ready to bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm into the classroom. You’ll work closely with students who have additional learning needs, providing 1:1 support and helping them achieve their full potential.

What matters most is that you’ve supported children in the UK in any capacity — whether through education, healthcare, volunteering, or even personal experience.
You’ll also have a dedicated consultant managing your placement, providing guidance, support, and regular check-ins to make sure you’re thriving in your role and developing your skills. We're here to support you every step of the way.
This Could Be Perfect For:
-
Psychology graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in special education
-
Healthcare or care professionals ready for a new, rewarding challenge
-
Individuals with a background in education or youth work
-
Anyone with a big heart and a can-do attitude
What You’ll Need:
-
Experience working with or supporting children in the UK (in any setting)
-
A patient, proactive, and positive mindset
-
A genuine interest in special education and supporting diverse learners
What We Offer:
-
A supportive and inspiring school environment
-
Ongoing training and development opportunities
-
A dedicated consultant to support and manage your placement
-
The chance to make a life-changing impact — every single day
