Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant

 The school is situated in Burnley, East Lancashire and has easily accessible transport links. A Mainstream Primary Schools in Rossendale are currently looking for SEN teaching assistants who specialise in ASC and challenging behaviour.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Burnley, East Lancashire

Contract: Full Time

Start Date: September 2024

Pay rate: £12.90/ £13.50 per hour

The right candidates will:

  • Have experience providing specialist support to children with ASC and Challenging Behaviour
  • Have experience working 1:1 and in small groups
  • Have experience liaising with Parents and SENCO on the child’s progress
  • Experience working with children within a primary school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
