Team Teach Teaching Assistant
Location: Burnley (BB10)
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

Start date: Febuary 2025 (with a view to transition onto a permanent contract) 

Are you a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant with Team Teach training? Are you passionate about supporting children with behavioural needs and helping them succeed in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Team Teach-trained Teaching Assistants to join primary school in Burnley (BB10) 

About the Role
As a Team Teach Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs
  • Use your Team Teach training to de-escalate challenging situations and promote positive behaviour
  • Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement individual behaviour plans and support strategies

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a valid Team Teach qualification (or is willing to obtain it – we can provide training)
  • Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Has experience working with children with behavioural needs, SEN, or in similar settings
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
