Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistants (Plymouth)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for several SEN Teaching Assistant positions in SEN schools across Plymouth. We have both full-time and part-time roles available, with start dates beginning in October. Positions range from short-term to long-term assignments, providing flexibility to suit your availability.

About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, and complex health needs. Your experience in working with children or young people in similar settings will be essential to your success in this role.

You will support students both in the classroom and during break/lunch times, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and assistance. The role requires someone with strong character, personal resilience, and the ability to handle the challenges that come with working in a dynamic environment. Flexibility, a child-focused approach, and the ability to adapt to change are key attributes we are looking for.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time roles: Typically 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Part-time roles: Hours will vary depending on the specific position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
