About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a wide range of needs in Barnstaple’s exceptional SEN schools. These schools are committed to creating an inclusive and positive environment, offering support to children with additional needs. You’ll be part of a skilled and compassionate team that fosters a supportive and enriching educational experience. As part of the role, you’ll benefit from full preparation and support, including a meet-and-greet session and a trial day to ensure you’re confident and comfortable in your new role.

Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP – Flexible openings to match your schedule.
• Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm – Start on a temporary contract, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
• Pay: £85-£95 per day – Competitive weekly pay, depending on experience.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, helping them engage and achieve.
• Work alongside teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
• Ensure a positive and safe environment, encouraging students’ emotional and social development.
• Adapt resources and activities to match each student’s unique learning needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet the holistic needs of students.
