Pay: £90 - £100 per day
Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, full-time
Location: Exeter, Devon – Fully Outdoor Setting

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for students with a range of needs, including PMLD, SEMH, Complex Needs, and ASD. This role is entirely outdoors, offering students an alternative approach to learning that encourages well-being, confidence, and engagement through nature.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students in an outdoor learning environment with hands-on activities
‍ Work 1:1 or in small groups to provide personalized support
Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored learning plans
Help students develop key life skills through nature-based experiences
Create a safe, nurturing space for emotional, social, and academic growth

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Passion for SEN education and outdoor learning
✅ Previous experience in education, care, or outdoor settings (preferred)
✅ Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
✅ Ability to work entirely outdoors in all seasons
