SEN Teaching Assistant – Skelmersdale
Location: Various Schools in Skelmersdale
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated individual with a drive to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive school environments across Skelmersdale.

The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom.
  • Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A patient, caring individual with a flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A high level of understanding of various SEN and SEMH conditions.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting) is desirable, but not required.
