Are you a Support Worker or Carer looking for a new challenge in education? Would you like to use your skills to support children and young people with additional needs?

We are recruiting flexible, compassionate individuals to join our bank of Education Support Staff, working on a shift basis across specialist schools supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to transition into education while maintaining flexibility around your existing commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons, activities, and therapeutic interventions.

  • Build positive relationships to promote engagement, learning and wellbeing.

  • Help manage classroom environments and support behaviour in line with individual needs.

  • Work flexibly based on your availability – choose shifts that suit you.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience in care, support work, healthcare or similar settings.

  • Are passionate about making a difference in children's lives.

  • Are patient, adaptable, and able to build rapport quickly.

  • Are interested in developing a career in education, whether long-term or to gain new experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
