A great opportunity for applicants with previous work or personal experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Required from September 2024.
  • Supporting pupils within the ASC provision.
  • Providing guidance for students across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
  • Earn between £1600 - £1700 per month, depending on experience.

The school has recently been refurbished with modern equipment and technology within the ASC provision. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and laptops which the incoming teaching assistant will have access to during lessons. The successful candidate will be assigned to support particular pupils and will be given the responsibility of tracking their progress and reporting this back to the class teachers.

Our client school is based in Salford and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Bolton, Trafford and Leigh. For candidates who do not drive, out client school can also be accessed via public transport from neighbouring areas such as central Manchester and Eccles.

To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously who have Special Educational Needs. Any previous experience specifically support pupils with Autism is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
