Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a secondary SEMH school in Salford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs, assisting them in managing their behaviour and emotions.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement strategies and interventions to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
- Foster positive relationships with students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
Requirements:
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Teaching Personnel).
- References covering two years of employment history.
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
