SEN Teaching Assistants needed

Teaching Personnel are working closely with one Secondary Schools & SEN provisions in the West Cornwall area, who are seeking enthusiatic and passiontate candidates who are wanting to be SEN Teaching Assistants in September. They are seeking a committed candidates who is looking to kickstart their career in Education or embrace a new experience in another School/provision! 

An ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to allow working with multiple ages and levels of ability. Roles can vary from working on a 1:1 or group basis with pupils who have Special Needs, you will be helping and assisting with their work throughout the day alongside helping the class teacher.

A successful candidate will be/have:

  • Experience working with special needs (Autism, complex needs, Profound multiple learning difficulties, Social emotional mental health or Physical disabilities)
  • Wants a career within the Education sector

  • Online training available to upskill yourself 
  • Outdoor learning within certain provisions 
  • Bespoke curriculums that are tailored towards pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
